2015 Starbucks/Black Hat Football Team: Oakdale High O-Line Zac Cardoza

OL Zac Cardoza, Oakdale High Mustangs

The 5-foot-7, 175-pound senior isn’t your typical high school linemen, but the Wing-T offense that has become the Mustangs’ legendary calling card uses quickness and deception to turn undersized offensive linemen into dominant blockers. He helped Oakdale to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 3 title as a junior, then led the Mustangs back to the D3 title game this season.

With Cardoza often leading the way, Oakdale had an 1,800-yard rusher, a 1,200-yard rusher, and 800-yard rusher and a quarterback who had more than 1,500 yards offense. It was one of the most productive offenses in The 209 as the Mustangs went 13-1 and averaged 44 points a game.
