2015 Starbucks/Black Hat Football Underclassmen of the Year: Sonora High DB/RB Kane Rodgers

DB/RB KANE RODGERS, Sonora High Wildcats

The 5-foot-10, 155-pound sophomore was Mr. Everything for the Sac Joaquin Section Division 5 champions, intercepting 11 passes, running for 750 yards and catching 13 passes for 360 yards.

His 11 interceptions make him #1 in California in that category.

He scored nine touchdowns and was in on 93 tackles for the Wildcats, who lost their opener to D3 Oakdale and then won 12 in a row before falling in Saturday’s NorCa Bowl.
