Video/SloMo Special Look at Central Catholic Raiders’ Holy Bowl win over St. Mary’s Rams

Central Catholic RB Dauson Booker ran for 150 yards and scored the first TD as the Raiders toppled religious rival St. Mary’s 20-7 in Stockton in the weekend’s Holy Bowl.

Check out Booker and more on Dean Camara’s Friday Night Slo-Mo Special Look at the Raiders’ big win. Dean is often shooting NFL games on Sundays during the fall, but we’ll be featuring his Friday Night Slo-Mo Specials all season.

The Raiders’ lines dominated the second half, including a short TD run by fullbac Coleby Garrett – that provided the final points. CC has a bye this coming week, then visits 3-0 Manteca in the VOL opener.

St. Mary’s offense was staggering much of the night, still trying to recovered from the loss of talented sophomore QB Noah May two weeks ago. Without May, the Rams are lacking a consistent passing attack – and the Raiders played that way.

They forced five turnovers and are the first team to hold St. Mary’s to a touchdown or less in six years. The Rams scored 89 points in their first two games. The Rams’ attack consisted of a 250 yards offense and 54-yard screen pass to sophomore Jamar Marshall, the team’s lone TD.
