Amador High lost plenty of talent from last year’s squad, which won the program’s first-ever Sac-Joaquin Section championship and advanced to a State Bowl, but the Buffaloes still got some skills.

Amador threw a scare into powerful Sonora – the Wildcats have 3 Mother Lode League titles and are 20-0 in league since joining the MLL — before Sonora pulled away in the second half.
