High school football in The 209 and an education, it’s a great combination.
That’s the message that Taco Bell is promoting, with Black Hat Football, as we prepare for the 2016 season. We’ll select 3 Taco Bell Athletes of the Week each Monday during the football season, through the Sac-Joaquin Section Section playoffs, and each earns a $20 gift card for tasty treats and a Taco Bell Athlete of the Week patch.
2017 TACO BELL ATHLETES OF WEEK SIX
QB GABE SANCHEZ, PATTERSON TIGERS
Sanchez delivered big against previously ubeaten Liberty of Madera Friday night, when he completed 17 of 26 passes for 356 yards and 5 TDs in a 54-28 win over the 5-0 Hawks. His performance lifted the Tigers’ record to 4-1, going into tis Friday’s Western Athletic Conference opener at Pacheco.
